The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC), through its affiliate company, EGYPTIAN Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), is inviting International Contractors to express their interest in submitting Tenders for the above package.
The scope of work for the 500kV GIS switchgear package (A) on turnkey basis includes but is not limited to, design, fabrication, furnishing, delivery, installation, training, testing, start up and commissioning for the 500kV GIS switchgear three single phases double busbars and double circuit breakers 2000 A, equipment control, protection and scada system for the following bays:
- Four outgoing O.H.T.L's and one auto transformer including but not limited to the civil work for the GIS switchgear room (hall), battery room, AC & D.C room, two auxiliary transformers rooms, communication room, four foundations for auto transformer (four single phase), the foundation for the gantry (steel structure) and the construction of the gantry for the 500kV four feeders .
- Extension of bassos 500kV GIS switchgear with two O.H.T.L's bays.
It is planned to issue the tender document for the subject Tender on early January 2008, have the Contract signed with successful bidder by July 2008, in order to complete the project maximum by July 2010.
The interested Contractors are required to send Expression of Interest in tendering for this project including financial status, list of their past and ongoing experience for 500kV GIS switchgear. Interested Contractors should transmit their letters within two weeks of the publication of this notice:
