The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company (EEHC), through its affiliate company, Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company (EETC), is inviting International Contractors to express their interest in submitting bids for the above package.
The scope of work for the 220/66/22 KV power transformers and 25 MVAR shunt reactors (package B) include but is not limited to, design fabrication, factory testing, delivery and supervision for installation, site testing, start up and commissioning of two power transformers 220/66/22 KV, 125 MVA connection group YnYn0d11 with its fire fighting system and two 220 KV, 25 MVAR shunt reactors.
It is planned to issue the tender document for the subject tender on end November 2008, to have the Contract be signed with successful bidder by April 2009, in order to complete the project maximum by April 2011.
The interested Contractors are required to send Expression of Interest in tendering for this project including financial status, list of their past and ongoing experience for power transformers 220/66/22 KV, 125 MVA and shunt reactors 220 KV,
25 MVAR. Interested Contractors should transmit their letters within two weeks of the publication of this notice:
