1) Design and develop the primaryengineering for high voltage AIS and GIS substations for various projects,including new installations, upgrades, and expansions.
2) Develop detailed designdrawings, calculations, specifications and BOQ using international standards(IEC, IEEE…etc.) and local standard of Egypt and KSA such as: -
• General Layout Drawing and Sections,
• Civil Guide Layout,
• Earthing Grid Layout and Details,
• Lightning Protection Layout and Details
• Indoor and outdoor Clamps and Fittings,
• Outdoor Cable Routing Layout and Details,
• HV Switchgear Building General Layout and Sections - IncludingTransformer Side,
• HV Switchgear Building Equipment Earthing Layout and Details,
• HV Switchgear Building Power and Control Cable Routing Layout andDetails,
• Control Building including MV Rooms,
• Technical specs and detailed BOQ.
3) Perform the necessarycalculations required for electrical equipment sizing.
4) Prepare, review the necessarytechnical specifications for substation electrical components.
5) Conduct site visits andinspections to gather necessary information for design and construction.
6) Provide quality reviews ofconstruction packages prior to issuance to construction.
7) Provide technicalassistance during the construction of projects.
1- At least 2 years of experience in primary engineering of HVsubstations.
2- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from a recognizeduniversity.
3- Proficient use of software: AutoCAD - ETAP
4- Strong understanding of electrical theories, codes & standards ofelectrical systems.
5- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
6- Excellentcommunication and coordination skill.
